Arrays, shapes, broadcasting and the loop you should not write. Every lab in this curriculum is written against this.
5h · 7 lessons · 1 challenge
None of the source courses teaches this, and all of them assume it. Their labs hand you NumPy arrays on the first day and their vectorization lectures explain why a loop is slow without explaining what replaces it.
This module is the missing prerequisite: what an array is, what a shape means, how broadcasting decides whether two of them can meet, and the handful of patterns that turn a loop into one expression.
Twenty pairs of shapes. Say whether they broadcast, and to what. Wrong answers show you the rule you missed.
